Custom Memory Bears & Quilts

Hannah Bears, LLC is the result of a lifetime love of sewing and creativity. 

At seven years old, my grandmother taught me how to thread a needle and I've been sewing ever since. We came from humble means and I used whatever fabric I had to make quilts, bags, and even clothes for my friends. I figured out how to make whatever I needed. For the past 25 years, I have been doing just that while honing in my skills as a maker. 

My entrance into making memory bears coincided with motherhood in 2024. I realized in the demands of life with an infant, I needed something for myself. From then on it didn't matter what I made, sewing was for me. I dusted off my bin of scrap fabric and made whatever was needed, except this time I began to share my creations on social media. While my own "Hannah Bear" played next to me, I altered her clothes and made quilts for new babies in the family. People took notice.

By February 2025, a friend asked me if I could make her some memory bears. I simply answered, "Probably," found a pattern, and made a few practice bears. Once I shared the bears I made for the first friend, more people took notice and wanted a bear, and so on. By that september Hannah Bears, LLC the business was offical. It truly is an honor to use my gift to help others preserve their memories. 

Each custom Bear or Quilt is handcrafted, by me, into a loving keepsake to be hugged and squeezed, or just displayed, for years to come. Each bear is unique as it highlights those special details tied to the memory of your loved one. 

Materials:

 In addition to the clothing items, each bear is made with a stabilization layer (interfacing), safety eyes, fabric noses, and a combination of Polyester filling and a small amount of the fabric scraps from each item.

Pricing

The pricing of each bear or quilt is reflective of the time and skill required to make a beautiful yet lasting keepsake. All charges will be discussed and agreed upon during the consultation, prior to cutting into any fabric. Changes after the fact may not be possible.

I offer two different styles of bears. The base price is as follows but additional customizations come with additional costs.

• Classic Bear - 12 inch - $55   or   18 inch - $60
• Melody Bear - one size $75

I offer 2 styles of bears. The Classic style is more traditional in its features  as it has the more floppy limbs. 

It comes in 2 sizes. 12 inches tall and 18 inches tall.

 Although smaller and larger sizes can be made upon request, additional charges may apply
